Saturday, March 24

Saturday, April 21

The Basics

10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Beginning enthusiasts will learn properties and application techniques of Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint®, using sample boards and crown molding sections. You’ll create smooth, textured, layered, and distressed finishes in addition to sealing with waxes in clear, white, black, and brown. Fee: $105 per class, 10 person maximum. Cost includes all supplies and materials.

Beyond the Basics

2:00 – 4:30 p.m.

For experienced Chalk Paint® enthusiasts, the advanced workshop will cover techniques such as wet-wax finishes, gilding waxes, multi-layered finishes, tinted waxes, and multi-layered washes. Using sample boards and crown molding sections, students will go home with the skill and confidence to tackle a variety of finishes on own projects. Fee: $105 per class, 10 person maximum. Cost includes all supplies and materials.

Students are welcome to take both workshops on the same day. There is a 90-minute break between workshops —plenty of time for lunch. Bring your own or go out to one of the many spots at Willow Lawn or on Broad Street.
