Rebecca Rose has a lifelong passion for art, and she knew early that she wanted to make a career of it. She also learned early that she needed to do more than paint in order to support herself and her art. She worked as a graphic designer in North Carolina and Virginia for 40 years, and now, in retirement, she has the time to pursue her love of painting. She uses painting as a form of meditation, and she can easily lose herself for an entire day in a work. She has studied under artists Connie Winters, Anne Chaddock, and Christopher Wynn.
