My love of oldtime stringband music inspired this stringband. I love focusing on the details of clothing, fur, and instruments. The possum and fox are frequent visitors and I've known many goats through the years.

Artist's Statement:

I recently moved from western VA to Powhatan where I am settling in with my dog, cat, chickens, and am getting my ceramic studio set up. I am self-taught and many of my ideas are inspired by local domestic and wild animals, whimsical expressions of beasts, as well as my love of traditional stringband music. My large animal sgraffito work uses patterns found in textiles and nature.
