The colors of nature and the mystery around the origins of life inspired me to do this piece.  My intention with this painting is that viewers themselves will interpret what type of life it depicts and in what world this life exists.

Artist Statement

In my art, I try to capture feelings, memories or ideas I have in my body and relay them in the bold pigments and fluidity of alcohol ink. I like the unpredictability of the ink and how it can be manipulated with objects, chemicals and movement. I don't know what the outcome will be or when a painting might be finished until I see and feel it.
