I am attracted to geometrics and to textured surfaces (paint layers, flaking paint, etc.) Recently this fascination has focused on old and dilapidated buildings and barns in Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. This structure is in the abandoned town of Union Level, Virginia.
Artist Statement:
For many years, I have been fascinated with geometrics, and complex surfaces (peeling paint, multiple layers, etc.) Currently that interest is focused on old buildings and barns in Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. This particular building is in the abandoned town of Union Level, Virginia. For more paintings on this same theme, check out www.judithandersonart.com
