Several winters ago I learned of an artist studio that was available for leasing. I remember looking through the windows from the outside and the abandon space was alive with sunlight. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in contacting the leaser and the studio was left but not forgotten.

Artist Statement:

As an artist my work leans towards figurative art, and in some cases, it can be categorized as abstract realism or impressionism. I attribute this to my spontaneous depiction of the subject matter that to the passing eyes may only record a blur. My objective is to capture these fleeting moments for others to witness and enjoy.

I believe art should not only be decorative but also tell a story…to educate and stimulate the viewer. The spectator should never stop learning with unexpected wonder and enjoyment.
