Painted from an early morning photo shoot. I tried to capture the water movement in the foreground around the rocks and piles of driftwood, then trying to get the misty water and trees in background with atmosphere. Working with blues and purples to create a calming and mystical atmosphere.

Artist's Statement:

I began painting after I retired, my passion for art has always been apart of my life,  such as selecting pieces of local art on my travels to Europe as souvenirs.

After retiring I perused a passion of moving paint around a canvas striving to created art that will draw the heart and mind together.  I am an oil painter of landscapes, seascapes ,peacocks, trying  to bring nature to life.
