Artist Statement
As an old fashioned kinda girl with a contemporary mind, I love to improve the quality of lives. I consider myself to be an artist, chef, sales-marketing caregiver gardener organizer, leader of the pack who serves in the best interest of others.
I simply just like to "make things", whether it's cooking a tasty fine dining meal to building a pond or a fire pit, or making a flower arrangement. Using found objects and recycling materials makes use of what is available around me. Immediate gratification brings me a smile, a feeling of accomplishment and the motivation to keep creating, as ultimately...the effort typically effects those around me in a positive way.
I'd rather be moving and generating results, than watching tv, reading or sewing. I'm saving that for when movement is more challenging and my hopes are my hands and eyes will still function!
