First Place, Photography
One of the last photographs I took on film and developed, processed, and printed in my darkroom. There was just something mesmerizing about the "two as one" image I was seeing and wanted to capture.
Artist Statement
With a prior focus on photography, I have redirected my creative interests to mix-media print making. In recent years, I began exploring and further developing a print-making technique I refer to as Progressive Frame Imaging (PFI). In its simplest definition, PFI is a multi-layer, ink-over-ink print making process not dissimilar to that of lithography, wood block or silk-screen printing. The only difference with Progressive Frame Imaging is that digital printers replace the ink transfer mediums of stone, wood or screen.
