Artist Statement:

Art, for me, is an exploration of color, texture, and emotion. My journey began with a foundation in Art and Psychology, leading to a lifelong appreciation of how creativity connects us to ourselves and others. After years in the medical device industry, my move to Lake Anna in 2020 reignited my passion for painting. I am drawn to the tactile experience of “pushing” paint, layering colors, and discovering unexpected depth through acrylics, mixed media, and oil painting. The interplay of texture and movement in my work mirrors the organic flow of nature and emotion, creating pieces that invite personal interpretation. Above all, I am honored when my art resonates with others—when someone feels a connection strong enough to welcome it into their space. Each painting is a conversation, an expression of joy, contemplation, and discovery.
