Artist Statement:  This piece is one of the largest, most graceful pieces the artist Don Adams, has done. The beauty of the Florida Red Cedar and it's movement and flow from "base to beaks" lands this piece as one of his all-time favorites. He pictures these water birds as a combination of Florida egrets, who nest in mangrove trees, and the great, blue heron who fishes in the lake behind his Virginia home. This piece was selected for the All Media Show at Crossroads Gallery in March 2022.
