The butte at Choteau, MT is perhaps one of the best known. It’s elongated, angled form has been the subject of many paintings. By definition, a butte is an isolated hill with steep sides and a flat top similar to a mesa.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"Standard\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI visited this butte several years ago; my
