Along the waterfront of Tangier Island, there are many aging piers, boats and sheds. This photograph has several overlays and has been digitally painted to achieve a painterly quality.

Artist Statement:

I am an introvert at heart and use photography to express how I see the world around me. Everything has a spirit and a story to share, from the birds and flowers to even abandoned or neglected buildings. I particularly enjoy creating composites and overlays, where I can design an image using photographs I have taken.
