ARTIST STATEMENT: “Judge Jackson”

I draw portraits of people who have enriched my soul in some way. I use charcoal pencils to draw, shade, and color my figure from a black-and-white image. I experiment with various types of paper grades and colors. I also like to use white pencils and chalk to highlight features.
