Born and raised in rural New Hampshire, Michele Norris began painting as a young child. Michele attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She then completed advanced studies in Graphic Design. She realized success as an Art Director in the fashion industry and as a freelance designer. After the birth of her two children she returned to her original passion - painting.
 Michele is inspired to paint in various genres with color assuming a fundamental role. She employs graphic compositions, a unique color 'patching' technique and a painterly touch as she endeavors to describe the energy of her subject. Michele works in oil, acrylic and collage.
