Artist's Statement:
Growing up in 1980s Florida, I was immersed in vibrant color and the energy of motorsport, influences from my father's passion for both racing and creativity. My work explores the tension between motion and stillness, capturing dynamic moments of velocity and emotional intensity through compositions that maintain a quiet power. I transform loud, color-saturated experiences into works of restrained eloquence, creating a contemplative space that contrasts with their inherent energy. This deliberate opposition invites viewers to engage with bold content through a reflective framework, discovering significance in overlooked moments typically obscured by their own vibrancy. My art balances sensory richness with compositional restraint, revealing beauty in experiences too fleeting or intense to be fully appreciated in the moment.
