Tom Campbell is a self taught artist, working in acrylic and watercolor.
Using abstraction to evoke memories and emotions, Tom seeks to create a window through which the viewer can find their own experience.
Drawing inspiration from 20th century abstract artists and the freedom they gave us to try new techniques, Tom uses brushes, palette knives, scrapers and sticks as painting tools to create works in black and white as well as a riotous explosion of colors. He finds that the decisions of technique and colors are the sheer joy and real satisfaction in the creative process.
From a family of artists and creative people, Tom has found his unique voice and has the great pleasure to sharing that with everyone.
