CROSSROADS ART CENTER ALL-MEDIA SHOWS

Crossroads Art Center’s AMS are open to mid-Atlantic artists through a bimonthly call for entries, and cash prizes are awarded for the winners. Each show is juried by a prominent arts professional from the community (a gallery director, curator, museum official, arts professor, or accomplished artist). Cash awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The 2020 AMS shows are exhibited at Crossroads Art Center and as an online exhibition where customers can shop directly from the website.

Media: Any medium is accepted. No reproductions or giclée’s will be considered.

Sales: Crossroads Art Center will take a 30% commission on any work sold from the All-Media Shows. All work submitted must be for sale.

How to Enter: All submissions must be completed online. The entry fee should be paid online and completed entry forms should be emailed to cacamsentries@gmail.com before submission is complete. Artwork must not have been previously exhibited at Crossroads Art Center. Work created in the last three years is preferred.

Entry Fee: General public: $12 per submission; Gallery Members: $9 per submission. Limit of three submissions per artist. If an artist is not a gallery member, they may join at the time of entry.

Display Information: Work must remain until the end of the exhibiton.
Hanging work must be wired with professionalgrade wire. Screw eyes are accepted, but D-rings are preferred. Sawtooth hangers will not be accepted.
Ensure corners of frames, whether metal or wood, are tightly joined and have no scuffs, scrapes, and chips. If your piece requires non-traditional display,
note in the space provided on the form and include an additional image showing the display mode.

Image Preparation/Requirements: All artwork for exhibition will be juried by digital images. Digital files must meet the following specifications:

• Files must be in JPEG or PNG format with resolution of 300 dpi with the longest dimension being no more than 6” and saved at maximum
quality level.
• Images should be clear and in focus. This represents your work and how it is displayed online.
• Watermarked images will not be accepted.

2D IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
Three images of each piece are required, one of the art without frame, one with frame, and a close detail image. If the art is unframed, then only two photos
are required. Images should be labeled accordingly:
— Artist Name_Title_Size_Medium_Price_CROP.png
— Artist Name_Title_Size_Medium_Price_FRAME.png
— Artist Name_Title_Size_Medium_Price_DETAIL.png

3D IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
For each 3D, installation, or wearable art entry, submit one overall front image, one overall rear or sideview image, and one detail image.
• Detail images must show an important aspect of the art. Make sure that both the full-view and detail images are oriented correctly. Label images in this
format:
— Artist Name_Title_Size_Medium_Price_FRONT.png
— Artist Name_Title_Size_Medium_Price_REAR.png
— Artist Name_Title_Size_Medium_Price_DETAIL.png

    Liability and Agreement: Crossroads Art Center LLC will accept only original
    fine art and photography handcrafted by the artist. The gallery reserves the right to refuse delivered work if it differs from the submitted image, if the frame is in poor condition, or if the work is not properly wired. Signing the entry form or
    submitting entries online denotes agreement to the terms and conditions as stated in the entry information. The gallery is not responsible for items
    that are lost, stolen, or damaged while on display at the art center.
