I use symbols to tell a story — Birds in flight represent letting go and moving into a new chapter of life. Hibiscus flowers stand for strength, growth, and the beauty of change. And books remind us that knowledge is power — knowledge helps us grow and adapt at any stage of life.
Artist's Statement:
I draw inspiration from the beauty of life and the power of a positive mindset, channeling these elements into my art. Emotions cannot be seen or touched, so I present them to my viewers in visual form.I work with multiple mediums to push my creative boundaries. I love charcoal for its organic quality and its ability to create striking contrasts between light and dark. On the other hand, acrylic and mixed media offer a canvas for unrestrained expression that charcoal cannot match.
I use symbolism to express my ideas. Regardless of the media I use, my goal is to inspire those around me.
