This painting of my daughter on a walk was meant to be realistic, but she got to the piece and added her own interpretation of the background. I loved it, and leaned into that mysterious aura with the thread.

Painting people and pets brings me great joy. Bringing that joy to others when they see their custom portraits is even better. I’ve been a painter for over half my life, but I’m still always learning. Please let me know if I can paint someone that you love!
