When I started experimenting with papier-mache, my plan was to create designs for each season, ideally something to don your front door. With fall approaching, I thought, who doesn’t love a ghost? This spooky chic ghost adds instant curb appeal, but is also perfect for interior spaces.

Artist's Statement: 

Can someone who works with papier-mache call herself an artist?  I believe that I can… I am using my imagination, drawing shapes, experimenting with color and learning about paint, all while using different materials to construct whimsical designs.  What I create continues to evolve and that is what I love about this medium.  Each design is formed using recycled cardboard and plastic bags, blowing the earth a kiss each time. 

I hope that what I create sparks joy, and brings a little lightheartedness into this world.
