While I am typically not a representational painter, I am exploring ways to incorporate realism in my work. This large flower was an offshoot of The July Series. Adding the cmStockwell paper at once took the painting from ordinary to and more interesting.

Artist Statement

DUANE CREGGER is an artist working in oils and mixed media. His work is a narrative of his rural-to-urban migration experiences. He builds visual dialogue with layers of paint and mark-making, suggesting an accumulation of subconscious events.
