This warm and vibrant abstract painting is inspired by fragrant layers of spice cake adorned with fresh berries, sweet frosting, and edible flowers.

Artist's Statement: 

My abstract paintings feature colors that are reminders of a fun time in life when 80s pop culture ruled. As a child of the 80s, I am inspired by vintage items such as toys, school supplies, stickers, and so much more, many of which come from my personal collection. I also draw inspiration from beloved vacation spots, delicious foods, eye-catching outfits, and even my favorite colors. My medium of choice is acrylic paint and I have enjoyed abstract painting since 2003 with a love for the visual arts since childhood.
