Emotion is building—the moment when your eyes brim with unshed tears, blurring the world into a haze of raw feeling. It’s that fragile pause between restraint and release, where everything is suspended in emotion, and for a fleeting instant, all that exists is the weight of what you feel.

Artist's Statement:

I aim to capture the essence of femininity and the timeless beauty of women through realistic portraits adorned with nature and floral elements. The juxtaposition of surreal floral backgrounds with the realism of the portraits highlights a major theme in my work: the connection between the beauty of women and nature. Initially, when developing my artistic voice and style, I was uncertain about the deeper meaning of my creations; I simply felt a compelling need to bring them to life. About a year later, I began to see my work as a departure from traditional representations of women in art, media, and everyday life. This realization was profoundly impactful due to my own experiences.

My work is characterized by its bright color palette, with a vibrancy that evokes positive emotions. Even when exploring serious topics like heartbreak or loss, my intention is always to portray hope, freedom, or relief. Music is one of my greatest inspirations, deeply influencing my artwork. Music and dance have always been a large part of my life, and understanding how I can express myself and the feeling of a song through dance growing up has shown me how I can convey these through visual art.
