I created Persephone's Pomegranate as a nod to the timeless story of Persephone and Hades. In this interpretation, Persephone eats six pomegranate seeds, symbolically binding her to spend six months in the underworld with Hades and six months in the mortal realm with her mother Demeter.

Artist Statement:

My philosophy as an artist and photographer is to constantly explore and take inspiration from a variety of subjects and to find the beauty in everything. It is through this continuous exploration that I have photographed a variety of subjects for a variety of reasons. From the intricate details of nature to the vibrant rhythms of urban landscapes.  I believe that every subject, no matter how seemingly ordinary or extraordinary, holds within it a unique beauty and significance. By exploring this diversity, I hope to inspire viewers to see the world with fresh eyes, and to appreciate the complexity and richness of the world we live in.
