Why SIP?

There is an energy in a quiet room as we all concentrate on our own paintings. There is a camaraderie among us, and we cheer over successes. Our mentor, Chuck Larivey is so generous with his time and talents, we all become more generous. An artist life can be pretty lonely with hours alone in the studio. I love painting with other artists so once a week I paint with my fellow artists in the SIP studio. I love seeing what they are all doing and watching their progress. It’s a place where we develop friends, contacts, and knowledge of painting and marketing. -  Kathy Rivera
