This piece explored reflections of light on different surfaces--including tile and wood.

Artist's Statement:

I have had the pleasure of focusing seriously on my art only in the past year or so, and I have experienced the joy of growing my portfolio since then. My work is inspired by the natural world, with a focus on animals in their natural settings. I also find inspiration locally, and tend to focus Virginia scenes. I use both oil and acrylic as a medium. When I'm not painting, I am a practicing lawyer and mother of 3 small and exuberant children.
