Portrait of a Cloud – Shot from the top of Pike’s Peak in Colorado, the view that inspired Katharine Lee Bates’ poem titled “America” that was written after a trip up this mountain.  This poem would later become the song “America the Beautiful”.  At 14,000 ft above sea level, you are no longer looking up at clouds.  You are surrounded by clouds.
