I am intrigued by the beauty and overwhelming presence of the Natural Bridge. This piece is inspired by multiple trips to photograph the Natural Bridge during different seasons and times of day. This was a collaboration of several of my photographs, along with the exaggeration of vivid color to bring this historical landmark to life for my audience. The process included thick layers of oil paint using palette knives, sponges and coarse bristle brushes to create texture.
