Hollywood Rapids, James River Park RVA. These class III to IV rapids are in the center of Belle Isle. The name comes from famed Hollywood Cemetery, situated on top of the hills above Belle Isle on the north bank of the James.

Artist Statement:

In my paintings, I love to explore new ways to convey a vision of the natural world’s beauty. With traditional representation and methods, I paint in oils using a linseed oil mixture to improve the thinness, gloss and depth of the oil paint.
