My painting, entitled “Aire Mail Special” is a foundational piece from my new series of work called “Aire”. In this series, I am exploring movement and how it relates to a solid field of background color! This piece is an homage to the jazz standard, “Air Mail Special”, written by Benny Goodman!

Artist Statement:

I work primarily in oil, or acrylic/mixed media. I am a self taught artist and have been painting professionally since 1993 and specialize in portraiture, wildlife, dogs, and abstract art.
