Artist Statement:

I am a skilled designer with a concentration in textile and texture design and broad experience in fashion design, embroidery, beading, painting, textile weaving and more. I learned to sew at a young age which ignited my passion for all modalities of design, and I have been a lifelong learner ever since. I learned how to digitize designs on the computer for machine embroidery and this has become my primary medium of design. I work with all natural fibers and am currently exploring the use of batting, felting, and pleating to manipulate my textiles while embellishing with my own custom hand or machine embroidery.
