Virginia based Artist, David Ross has been developing his Craft in Metalsmithing, Jewelry and Gemology over the last six decades when David Ross found apprenticeship with a Jeweler, combining his experience of mining with precious metals. Currently David's work expresses itself surrounded by his Coppersmithing Skills, though he still has a fond love of Jewelry Making, he has moved from primarily Jewelry to Sculpture while pursuing greater themes. Multiculturally influenced with past residencies in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Mexico greatly influencing his work, David has blended his International Exposure; Experience incorporating all Earth Elements into his Unique Creations exposing his One of a Kind Spatial Visions. Though classified as a Metalsmith, David contemplates himself an Elemental Artist. Multimedia Dimensioanalist suffering through Dimensionality. David's unique vision has been greatly influenced by the lost use of his left hand. This Grand Union of Disability and Skill Set has extended the range of his talent ever further by challenging the very boundaries of his talent living up to one of his favorite quotes "Do One Thing Everyday That Scares You". David, uses his art as a platform to assist the Senior, Youth; Substance Abuse Communities.
