A cold winter morning cast blue hues across the pond and its surroundings. Framed by the snowy ground, bare tree line, and winter clouds, the calmness of the scene drew me in.

Artist's Statement:

I am a digital photographer, and I photograph as a form of escapism. I immerse myself in surroundings, whether familiar or unfamiliar, and seek out scenes that reflect my state of mind. When cast in certain light, wildlife, landscapes, or ordinary objects mirror my emotions, and I preserve those emotions in my images.
