In my designs, I connect flowers to each other with gracefully shaped lines. These designs are inspired by the beautiful relationships between people. This piece was created to capture the happiness, comfort and love we feel when we are with others.

Artist's Statement: 

My body of work explores the connection we have to cherished memories and places. Connecting memories and places has been a recurring theme in my life as I have moved many, many times. Whether it’s the familiar shapes of buildings in one of my architectural abstracts, or a life-size hummingbird drawing, each piece can be a link to a story or memory we love. 

I work in many different mediums including acrylic, gouache, watercolor, color pencil and ink. I love each of these mediums for their own qualities as well as their ability to be easily transported from place to place.
