Morning Routine was made on one of my James River Eagle Tours in 2021.  To capture the eagle’s activities, I positioned my camera parallel with the bird’s body and set the shutter speed to 1/1600 sec.

Artist Statement

I grew up in China and now live in the US, I have always been curious about the interaction and coexistence among people, animals and plants (large and small) in their natural habitat. My digital camera allows me to capture what I was wondering about. Since 2017 when I got my first DSLR camera, outdoor sports and wildlife have been my primary focus.
