We lugged boxes up stone steps to the third floor, as female members of the class of ’77 – the third year of co-ed undergrad classes at UVA. (August, 1973) Protected by 40male students guarding the stairwell below, we acclimated to the dorm share-lifestyle. Helen Reddy sang courage. We were ready!

Artist Statement:

My work explores the world of relationships - with our natural environment and with each other - layers, complexities, interactions, and juxtapositions.
