Natural patterns and the negative spaces they produce intrigue me.  I am inspired by November Sunsets glimpsed through the trees in Central Virginia - breathtaking.

Artist Statement: 

My art has evolved from black and white printmaking - etching and lithography to colorful drawings, monoprints and mixed media constructions. I love exploring color juxtaposition in drawing, and hand pulling a print to reveal the reversal. Always an "Ah Ha" moment! Concerned about the way we are treating our natural environment and our personal relationships, I am exploring layers in natural landscapes and human interactions, visually and conceptually. Learning daily.
