In the midst of the flow of life around us we need to find that calm empty space within to anchor ourselves.

Artist Statement: 

I have worked with wood as a hobby for most of my adult life. Now in retirement I am able to truly focus on stretching my skills and creativity full time.
Each piece of wood was alive at one time breathing in its own ways. And for me there is still life in it. My goal is for each piece of wood that I use to inspire me to create shapes and forms turnings, sculpture, and pieces of furniture - that allow the woods natural beauty to be seen, touched and appreciated by all who look at it.
