I'm a multidisciplinary artist working in clay and oil paint.

Regardless of medium or form,  the common thread in my artwork is attention to detail.

Inspiration for my artwork is obtained during experiences of daily life and through pursuing personal interests.  Gardening, spending time in wilderness, observing wildlife, visiting museums and collecting antiques all provide fertile ground for artistic inspiration.  Close observation during these experiences coupled with my imagination creates the inspirational spark which commences my artistic process.  

The goal for my artwork is to share the experiences that captivate my attention.  It may be a beautiful detail on an antique, or gorgeous shades of green in the entwined stems of weeds, and at other times it may be a feeling or attitude I've experienced.  My hope is to connect with the viewer through these observations.
