This piece in particular features a subject blinded by florals as a glitch effect applied creeps from the bottom. This is meant to mimic how the technological age has corrupted and shaped our current world in a way that emphasizes its beauty while it slowly eats at our autonomy.

Artist Statement:

A lot of my work tries to focus on realistic technicality while also aiming to incorporate elements that interesting to the setting or subject. I'm interested in how the graphic arts can be influenced by studio arts such as drawing and painting, and where the two can be intertwined. This piece in particular features a subjected blinded by florals as a glitch effect applied creeps from the bottom. This is meant to mimic how the technological age has corrupted and shaped our current world in a way that emphasizes its beauty while it slowly eats at our autonomy. Influenced by art that explores new mediums in hyperrealistic ways and personal reflection post-pandemic, I am creating an art that reflects on my own journey as an artist thus far.
