Charles Reed

Charles Reed uses local wood from Virginia, finding the perfect pieces of wood to handcraft both functional and beautiful pieces of art. At Crossroads Art Center, you will find an assortment of vessels: wooden spoons, salad tongs, salad bowls, oven rack pullers shaped like fish, and furniture, including tables. All of Charles's creations are crafted with power tools and carved and shaped by hand. Each unique piece is a simple and functional creation meant to be enjoyed and passed on to future generations.
