I started painting as a creative outlet and through it learned more about abandoning perfectionism. I was inspired to paint trees for this piece by my husband who loves to be outdoors exploring. Painting nature scenes is inspiring because you have the freedom to explore imperfection while recognizing the beauty in the overall scene.
