Based on a picture I took on a James River walk by the Z Dam.

Artist Statement:

I enjoy the full process of painting.  From the construction of the canvas to framing the finished piece.  While reviewing photographs that I have taken I am able to pick out sections of interesting composition to be the basis of my paintings.  Colors are used to represent texture.
