Oyster Tide celebrates a landscape created by tidal currents near an oyster bed. Inlaid snippets of a black and white photograph are included along with fibers hand dyed. The tulle overlay adds texture and depth throughout.

Artist's Statement:

I am a mixed media creative expressionist. Art is my passion.  I work intuitively, mixing reality with abstraction, creating from the depths of my soul.  I am inspired by the world around me. I work in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, fiber, inks, pencil, pen, pastels papers plus tile and stone. I love the power of color, line, shape, value and texture to define the final design. My process is truly my own. I show my work throughout VA and NC and sell throughout the United States. My multifaceted fine art is powerful and expressive, pleasing my collectors. I work from my multiple home studios on Lake Gaston, NC.
