The Richmond Dairy building was built in 1890 and the dairy operated for many years. It has now been converted to an apartment building, but the landmark milk bottles structures were retained.

Artist Statement: 

I received my first camera, which I still own, when I was twelve and was immediately captivated by photography. My images have been accepted in juried shows in the US and in an international show in Serbia. Our world is a smorgasbord of photographic opportunities. I have been lucky enough to travel our country and internationally; however, many of my most successful images have been taken near home in my quest to capture the intrinsic beauty of common things as well as those which are exotic.  I am a member of Photographic Society of America, Fredericksburg (VA) Photography Club, Jackson (MS) Photography Society, Blacksburg Art Association, Brush Strokes Gallery, Fredericksburg VA and Crossroads Art Center, Richmond VA.
