The surreal aspects of this piece were inspired by works from Gekidan Inu Curry that sparked my curiosity for the dark and mysterious parts of life in my childhood. With this work, I hoped to combine my love for the macabre, and a nonsensical habit of collecting broken things.

Addie is a Richmond-based artist with a focus on narrative imagery. Their work often explores themes of identity, connection, and a refusal to fit into the neat little boxes of societal norms.
