Infused with warmth and memory, Sunwoven reflects renewal shaped by time. Past seasons linger within the light, suggesting that beginnings often emerge gently from what has been lived and endured.

Artist's Statement:

My work explores nature as a living record of time—where growth, decay, resilience, and renewal exist in continuous relationship. I am drawn to moments of transition, when forms are neither fully ending nor fully emerging, but quietly becoming something new. Through layered compositions of tangled stems, fading botanicals, and unfolding blooms, I examine how beginnings are often rooted in what has come before.
Working with acrylic in layered applications, I build surfaces that hold light, texture, and depth, allowing traces of earlier marks to remain visible. These accumulated layers reflect nature’s own process—nothing is erased, but transformed. What may appear fragile or spent often carries the greatest potential for renewal.
While grounded in the natural world, my paintings are also reflections on the human condition. Just as landscapes retain the memory of past seasons, we carry experience, loss, and hope forward into new chapters. In this shared space between persistence and possibility, nature becomes both metaphor and guide.
This work invites viewers to slow down and consider renewal not as a sudden event, but as a quiet, ongoing act—one shaped by endurance, memory, and the promise of new beginnings.
