CALL FOR ENTRIES: 2027 January Gallery Members Exhibition

NO THEME — YOUR ART. YOUR CHOICE.

No theme. No boundaries. Just your creativity.

For our first Gallery Member Exhibit of 2027, we’re opening the doors to whatever inspires you!

There is no theme to interpret and no subject matter to follow. This is your opportunity to submit the work that best represents you as an artist.

Have you created something new that you can't wait to show? Do you have a favorite piece that deserves to be seen? Have you been experimenting with a new technique, medium, subject, or style? We want to see it!

Abstract or realistic. Traditional or contemporary. Bold or quiet. Landscapes, portraits, still life, photography, sculpture, mixed media, mosaics, ceramics, or something completely unexpected—the choice is yours.

Show us what you're creating and what excites you as an artist right now.

All styles, subjects, and mediums are welcome.

Please note: Membership is not the same as Artist-in-Residence. If you are not a member, wish to renew, or want more information, join HERE

 All work submitted must be for sale, and artists may not remove work until the end of the show. All 2D work must be wired to hang on the wall. Sawtooth hangers are not allowed.

Call-for-Entry is through ArtCall TAKE ME THERE!

Works submitted through ArtCall will be on Crossroads Art Center's website in a special Collection, as well as LIVE at the art center.

NEW! Artists may submit work IN PERSON on Sunday, Jan 3, 2027, noon - 4pm.  This work will not be online.

Important Dates:

•            Call for Entry: Nov 14 - Dec 12, 2026
•            Submissions: Online via Artcall.org  
•            Artist Notification: Monday, Dec 14, 2026
•           Artwork Drop Off: Tuesday, Jan 3 - Thursday, Jan 5, 2027 – Friday, 10am - 4pm

Work that is delivered late will NOT be displayed in the live show in the art center. 

·         Exhibition Opening Reception: Friday, January 15, 2027  5–8PM

·         Exhibition Closes: Saturday, March 6, 2027

·         Unsold Art Pickup: Sunday, March 7, 2027

Submission Fees:

        $15 per submission  (up to 2 entries)

Commission Structure:

         70% to Artist | 30% to Crossroads Art Center

PLEASE NOTE POLICY CHANGES:

1) We do NOT issue Refunds—

You will immediately get an email from ArtCall when payment is received. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it. The problem is usually a slow internet, or using your phone to enter. Do not continue to click the “submit payment” button. A deleted entry is still charged.

2) Need help entering the shows through ArtCall online?

 Artists that need help with entries can now get that help by paying $50 per entry. Call or email the art center to arrange an appointment.

3) AI Restrictions—
Artists must use THEIR OWN photo references. The use of any AI generated images or inspiration, professional photographed images, other artist’s images, instructor’s images or photographs taken by another individual, is STRICTLY prohibited.

Should we determine that an artist has violated this policy, the offending artist will NOT be eligible to participate in CAC online or gallery exhibitions for a period of two (2) years.

This policy safeguards the integrity of CAC and protects the individual artist from potential copyright infringement. Crossroads Art Center assumes no legal liability for violations of copyright of another individual’s material, or intellectual property rights.

4) Photography and Prints—
The gallery will accept only original work created by the artist. No reproductions or giclee prints will be accepted unless approved by Jenni Kirby, owner. 

Works where  the art process IS the printed process, i.e., etching, monoprint, silkscreen, lithograph, etc., or where the printed digital images is created by the artist with a computer program such as Procreate, Photoshop, etc. ARE permitted.  Artists must describe the process and program(s) used in the creation of their digital image.

The gallery reserves the right to refuse work if it believes these qualifiers have not been met.

5) Entering the show is an agreement. We expect the work to be delivered—
Be sure the dates for this show do not conflict with any gallery obligations you already have. As soon as work is entered, it should be temporarily removed from all sales and exhibition venues. Do not submit works with overlapping dates!
