Jocelyn Welles

Welles and Company, founded by Jocelyn Welles, is a collaboration of work by her family and close friends.

Frank Welles is a graduate of the Corcoran School of Art.  He works in various mediums such as ceramics and photography, but specializes in glass blowing.  He works primarily in borosilicate, which is known as “hard glass”.  His work of original objects is designed by him, and he will cheerfully execute custom orders.

Christina Lindholm is a lifelong maker of many things.  A former knit designer and professor (as well as former associate dean of an art school), she continues to knit, create hand-made books, and is currently creating beaded bracelets.

Jocelyn Welles is a fiber artist.  She creates teddy bears (from her original patterns), Appalachian-style baskets, quilts, knitting and eco-printed items such as scarves, wraps and table runners.  Her felting includes both wet felting (known as Nuno) and needle felting.  Her joy is to create whimsical creatures that make everyone smile.
